Cross Domain Solution Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

Job Responsibilities Establish and implement security procedures in support of Customer goals and DoD regulations. Develop and update Assessment & Authorization (A&A) documentation for continuous monitoring of information systems. Validate security policies and procedures based on the Information System (IS) knowledge and IA/Cybersecurity requirements, ensuring compliance with the System Security Plan (SSP), customer policies, and local policies. Initiate and coordinate authorization or re-authorization efforts for systems, including scheduling and attending meetings. Serve as the System Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for various systems. Perform vulnerability assessments and analyze system security posture. Resolve identified problems and ensure proper operation, maintenance, and disposal of systems. Conduct security audits, develop management processes for audit data, and implement corrective actions. Author and review IS security documentation and submit to eMASS. Provide cybersecurity expertise during all SDLC phases to address security requirements. Conduct ongoing security reviews and tests, and address vulnerabilities. Review proposed changes to the IS for security relevance and advise the ISSM. Review STIGs using STIGViewer and analyze ACAS scans. Develop Project Management Plan to attain ATO.

Requirements DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification. BA/BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or additional experience in lieu of degree. 2+ years of experience with eMASS, RMF, and STIGs. Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance in the future.
