$3327 / Week Job Description
The Ultrasound Technician performs specialized technical tasks utilizing high-frequency ultrasound waves to assist in detecting medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of the inside of a patients body. Minimum Requirements A certification from an accredited ultrasound school. Three years of experience as an ultrasound technician (preferred). Current CPR certification (if applicable). TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable). Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation). Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements. Must be at least 18 years of age. RVT certification (Registered Vascular Tech). 3+ years of experience. Proficiency in:
Peripheral arterial and venous studies. Physiologic arterial testing. Abdominal arterial and venous imaging. Cerebrovascular testing.
