Program Coordinator

to support our

Learn & Earn

program at EPIC North High School. This position plays a vital role in empowering youth to succeed in high school while preparing for college and career pathways. About the Learn & Earn Program

Learn & Earn helps students achieve high school success while preparing for postsecondary education and meaningful employment. Through academic support, job readiness training, internships, and mentorship, the program equips young people with the tools to thrive. Position Overview

The

Program Coordinator

will assist in the implementation of the

Work Learn Grow (WLG)

component, coordinate internships, facilitate work readiness workshops, and maintain strong relationships with youth, families, and school partners. This role also includes data management and partnership development. Key Responsibilities Program Coordination & Youth Engagement

Support the Job Developer with coordinating internship placements.

Facilitate engaging work readiness workshops for students.

Work closely with school staff, community partners, and stakeholders to ensure program success.

Relationship Building

Build and sustain strong, supportive relationships with program youth and their families.

Serve as a liaison between students, families, and school personnel to address needs and enhance participation.

Data Management & Reporting

Maintain accurate participant records in DYCD Connect and Salesforce.

Prepare reports on program engagement and outcomes for internal and external use.

Partnership Development

Help cultivate partnerships with businesses, community organizations, and educational institutions.

Assist in identifying and maintaining high-quality internship sites.

Additional Duties

Attend regular team meetings and professional development sessions.

Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director.

Qualifications

Required: Associates degree in education, social work, youth development, or related field, OR equivalent experience.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in youth development, workforce development, or educational programs.

Proficiency in DYCD Connect, Salesforce, or similar platforms.

Strong workshop facilitation skills.

Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred: Experience with WIOA-eligible youth or similar populations.

Familiarity with Queens-based community resources.

Understanding of DYCD program standards and compliance.
