is responsible for identifying, creating, and nurturing business opportunities and partnerships that align with the companys strategic objectives. This role involves market research, new client acquisitions, relationship management, and recommending marketing strategies designed for a specific target market. The positions primary focus is to increase sales and to enhance gross profit levels for the company. Individuals must be self-driven and possess a relationship-based approach to selling. Identify new market opportunities and target customer segmentations to drive business and revenue growth. Research and analyze market trends to identify potential clients and pursue new business opportunities aligned with company goals. Establish, maintain, and grow strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients to support long-term success. Lead negotiations with prospective clients, develop and review proposals, and close deals aligned with strategic goals. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to new business development and growth, ensuring continuous improvement and success. Collaborate with accounts to drive revenue and achieve sales targets. Cultivate strong relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty. Oversees the sales pipeline for new and key customers, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting. Perform competitive analysis and market research, staying informed on industry trends to guide business strategies. Monitor and sales budgets, margins, and profitability to ensure financial objectives are met. Proficiency in the utilization of the companys systems to help maximize sales development and customer needs. Develop and cultivate leads and prospective customers. Identify and create solutions to customer service problems. Deliver quality products, work with integrity, and always strive to provide excellent customer service. Generate and maintain a realistic expectation for accounts and territories. Actively use and maintain the companys CRM system. Job Requirements Must be eighteen years of age. Must pass a Drug Test. Must pass a Background Test. Must pass a Pre-Employment Physical. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two to Five years outside sales experience. Able to perform mathematical computations. Ability to travel locally required. Preferred Qualifications Five to seven years work experience in the plumbing distribution industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and a well-organized approach to work. Able to prioritize the workload and work effectively under time pressure. Ability to work on a team.
