Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the position include inpatient consults, clinic and procedures. Experience in robotic bronchoscopy is preferred as it will help advance the existing Ion robotic bronchoscopy program.
Supervision: The interventional pulmonologist will provide supervision to nurse practitioners and rotating trainees. Educational and Research Policy: The interventional pulmonologist will participate in clinical education of medical students and residents from Creighton University Health Sciences Campus - Phoenix. Clinical and bench research is strongly supported and desired. Appointment: Clinical assistant or associate professor with Creighton University School of Medicine.
Qualifications MD or DO Degree ABIM certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine AABIP certified or eligible in Interventional Pulmonary Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure prior to starting the position
