Job Description
The CNC Programmer/Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the Operations Manager and be responsible for:
Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, and other machining equipment. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes. Review blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to determine machining strategy. Select tooling, cutting speeds, feeds, and fixtures to maximize productivity and quality. Troubleshoot machining issues and provide technical support to operators on the shop floor. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to reduce cycle times and increase throughput. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and customer requirements. The Successful Applicant
Associate's or Technical degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 5+ years of CNC programming experience (Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM, or similar preferred). Strong understanding of G-code, CNC machining practices, and toolpath strategies. Experience with fabrication processes such as welding, sheet metal, and assembly is a plus. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. What's on Offer
