The ability to conduct routine x-ray exams in the department is essential. Experience operating C-arm x-ray equipment in surgery is required. Ability to assist as needed in fluoroscopy performed in a limited capacity during shifts is a must. Description: 16-week contract position available for an X-Ray Tech. The assignment includes a commitment into January, with the earliest end date being January 3rd. Travelers may request standard and/or holiday time off, but approval is at the client's discretion. The position does not float between units. On-call duty is required for 2-4 days per month. Weekend work is mandatory, specifically Saturday and Sunday from 07:00 to 15:30. Block scheduling is required. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. Schedule is Saturday to Tuesday from 07:00 to 15:30. Candidates must be available for 2-4 nights of call per month. Daily caseload includes 10-30 exams, with experience in routine radiology exams preferred. Special requirements include proficient use of the PACS system. Must be able to work with diverse patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Prior experience in trauma settings is advantageous. Familiarity with the charting system is required. Candidates should be ready to float within the hospital or nearby facilities. Travelers should possess a vehicle for this assignment. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and RTO requests. Compliance with all job requirements is necessary for successful contract fulfillment.
