Your Role and Responsibilities Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic conditions, fostering collaboration with physicians or independently based on credentials Educating patients and their families on wellness, preventative measures, and disease management Prescribing medications and therapies consistent with your practice scope Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care management initiatives Working seamlessly alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic, coordinated care Accurately documenting all interactions and assessments within electronic medical records (EMR) Education Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Required Certifications
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or a willingness to obtain within 90 days) Essential Skills
