Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Mammography Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mammographer to join our imaging team for a 13-week travel contract. The Mammographer will be responsible for performing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with ARRT standards and facility protocols, ensuring accurate imaging and exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using appropriate radiologic techniques and equipment. Ensure compliance with ARRT, ACR, and MQSA standards, as well as facility policies. Prepare and position patients to obtain optimal imaging results while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures and patient records. Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and healthcare staff to deliver efficient imaging services. Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality guidelines. Qualifications: Active ARRT certification in Radiography with Mammography credential. Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license (must be active at time of submission). Minimum 12 years of recent mammography experience in a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of breast imaging standards, positioning, and quality assurance. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
