Collectively, we are committed to a simple management approach, which influences our company culture and our management style.Brief Description:AFC Industries, a leading distributor of industrial fasteners and assembly components, is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their Askew Marine brand in support of the Naval Marine sector.The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience specifying, buying, and selling products into the military marine market. Experience in military fasteners is a plus, and a willingness to learn is a requirement!PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include growing the Askew Marine brand by servicing customers with the following responsibilities:Work with vendors to obtain pricing and deliveryCollaborate with supply chain and other internal departments to ensure on-time delivery of products to customersPresent, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customersReceive inbound emails and phone calls from customers and provide accurate responses to issues and concernsEnter and maintain customer and vendor data in ERP systemOther duties as assignedSKILLS REQUIRED:2-5 years military fastener sales (preferred)Must be a team playerHigh attention to detailHigh mechanical aptitudeMS Office Suite proficiencyProfessional attitude, appearance, and work habits with a desire to excel and be part of a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFull remote positionTravel as neededBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSalary target 75-90kWe are an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled employer.
