YOUR IMPACT
The Franchise Business Consultant (FBC) is a key member of the Operations Team and will take the lead in coordinating the new store opening process, training, and follow-up support for new Franchise Brand Partners.
A great candidate is a collaborative and energetic relationship-builder with the business acumen and drive to achieve a smooth opening experience. This person will need to be located or willing to relocate in Cape Coral/Ft Myers, FL.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Responsibilities Serves as primary contact for Franchisees from Franchise Agreement Execution through Opening Day. Effectively and efficiently follows up with Franchisees and internal functions to ensure a seamless onboarding process. Ensures all activities are completed within prescribed time frames. Tracks and maintains the progress of each franchisee as they move through the onboarding process in company's prescribed project management tool, FranConnect. Collects and maintains critical and confidential franchisee information in Kava Culture systems including but not limited to corporate entity filing documents, and insurance certificates. Tracks and facilitates the issuance and execution of critical agreements, including follow-up for missing documents, payments, approvals, releases etc. Coordinates the training activities for franchisees and with each functional area, based on phase of store development. Ensures all requirements are completed within prescribed time frames. Introduces external resources to franchisees and ensures subsequent activities take place based upon agreed upon deadlines. Collaborates with and keeps key stakeholders informed of franchisee progress throughout the opening process. Responsible for overseeing the training execution of the Franchisee and New Store Manager, while preparing the team to implement a "train the trainer" process at the store. Evaluates social media trends and partners with the marketing team to create and implement action plans to strengthen the stores grand opening. Executes operational strategies for stores to drive success in their opening process. Provides excellent written and verbal communication and support to Franchisees and internal functions. Escalates issues / concerns in the moment that impact the process or timeline. Actively seeks out resources to minimize and resolve problems. Consistently maintains knowledge of standard operating procedures, franchise agreements and local regulations. Serves as business consultant and ensuring best practices are followed at all levels. Previous experience opening new store locations. Experienced Multi-Unit Operator, i.e. retail, restaurant, and /or franchise concepts. Bachelor's degree or appropriate equivalent from an accredited university. Solid business acumen, management, analytical, and problem-thinking skills. Strong computer and technical skills, including Microsoft business applications and various reporting software. Previous Franchise experience HIGHLY desired. Must have exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Strong project management, business writing and reporting skills. Ability and willingness to work a flexible Full-Time schedule that may include weekends and holidays. Must have the ability to periodically travel for extended periods (as needed).
