Job Summary: An established food manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee 1st shift operations. This role is responsible for directing and coordinating production activities to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals while ensuring compliance with USDA and food safety regulations. The Production Manager will focus on optimizing resources, driving efficiency, and fostering a strong team culture across the production departments. Job Duties:

Lead and manage daily production operations to achieve output, quality, and customer satisfaction targets. Ensure adherence to standards for product quality, equipment reliability, and operator performance. Monitor operating costs, assist in budget development, and recommend solutions for labor or cost variances. Collaborate with functional leaders to maintain a positive employee relations environment. Evaluate workforce capabilities, identify skill gaps, and implement training and development plans. Support strategic growth initiatives through effective production planning and resource allocation. Maintain compliance with USDA, FDA, OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and other food safety and regulatory standards. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a food manufacturing environment. 5+ years of leadership experience in meat processing or related food manufacturing industry. Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced production environment. Strong knowledge of USDA requirements, food safety programs, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement process improvements. Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
