We are seeking a high-impact
Senior Manager, Human Resources
to join our team in
Bowling Green, Kentucky , supporting a dynamic manufacturing facility. This is a plant-based HR leadership role, serving as a
strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP)
to the site's leadership team. You will drive strategic HR initiatives while ensuring operational excellence in all core HR functions, including employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, compensation, and compliance. Key Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the
Plant Leadership Team , ensuring alignment of corporate and regional HR practices at the local level. Act as a
catalyst for positive employee engagement , manager development, and organizational effectiveness. Lead
employee relations
efforts: conduct investigations, resolve conflicts, and recommend appropriate actions in line with legal and ethical guidelines. Oversee
talent management
and succession planning, ensuring performance and development plans are in place. Partner with
Talent Acquisition
to attract and retain top talent and optimize selection strategies. Drive
compensation programs , total rewards, and wellness activities at the local level. Lead
organizational design
and workforce planning initiatives in collaboration with finance and operations. Ensure full
HR compliance
with local, state, and federal laws. Participate in and influence regional and global HR initiatives where applicable. Coach and influence leaders on effective people management and business decisions. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Human Resources, Business Administration , or a related field. 7-10 years
of progressive HR experience, with
5+ years in a manufacturing
environment. Strong expertise in
employee relations , employment law, talent acquisition, performance management, and compensation. Demonstrated
business acumen
and ability to influence leadership. Excellent
communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal
skills. Proficiency in
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
and HRIS/Payroll systems. Willingness to be
on-site 5 days/week
and to travel occasionally as needed. Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting
union and non-union environments . PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certifications. Exposure to
global or matrixed organizational structures .
