Summary

The Manager - Governance position is designed for a self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of business operation and financial processes, business risks, controls, possesses good analytical skills, and can work independently within a team. The Governance Manager will:

Lead governance initiatives, overseeing governance assessments, risk and control assessments, and compliance audits according to the annual plan and senior management requests Identify, analyze, and implement changes to business and governance processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance Ensure alignment with industry benchmarks and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of transparency and accountability Responsibilities

Interview business process owners to conduct gap analyses, identify weaknesses, and propose areas for improvement Conduct gap analyses to identify weaknesses and propose actionable solutions Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls and identify control deficiencies Conduct risk assessments, identifying key risks and recommending mitigation strategies Lead all phases of governance assignments from the planning stage to the presenting of the findings Ensure adherence to corporate policies, regulatory standards, and laws while aligning with professional and industry best practices Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and SOPs Drive continuous improvement in governance structures through training and awareness programs Conduct benchmarking with industry standards or best practices to identify gaps Performing other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Head of Governance Team Build and maintain effective working relationships with key business stakeholders Report on the progress of governance initiatives and the challenges encountered Compensation Range

$101,000-$113,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

8 - 13 Years of Direct Experience Preferred

Experience in Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) and/or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Preferred 1 - 3 Years of Supervisory Experience Required CIA, CRMA, CCEP, COSO, GRCP, GRCA, ICEP, IPMP Preferred ESG Certificate Preferred Physical Requirements
