This is a temporary assignment
TheRFID Lab at Auburn University is looking for motivated, hard-working, and detail-oriented employee from various disciplines to performRFID in-store testing and audits. This position will primarily involve fieldwork at partner locations. Fieldwork includes activities such as:RFID tag audits, barcode audits,RFID cycle counts.
Essential Functions
The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:
o Perform data collection tests to investigate the performance of large-scaleRFID deployments.
oRFID tagging items in a retail environment and then doing tests with aRFID reader to determine the quality and readability of the tags.
o Perform in-store barcode/inventory audits.
o May occasionally participate in in-lab demonstrations and testing
o Occasionally travel to partner locations outside of the Bentonville/Fayetteville area
