The Senior Franchise Business Leader will be instrumental in achieving the companys franchise initiatives to include: new store openings, execution of new development agreements, and growing sales across all revenue channels. The Senior Franchise Business Leader will spearhead all efforts related to increasing sales within business-to-business sales, in addition to catering and gifting. They will serve as the subject matter expert in partnership with the VP of Franchise Operations and other Franchise Business Leaders to ensure that brand standards are met across their defined span of 30-40 franchise stores (ensuring and enforcing brand standard adherence; ensuring execution of operations systems and tools, conducting operational assessments and creating action plans for growth and improvement; influences franchisees to drive business results through the development of a trusting and mutually beneficial working relationship). This role will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, performance analysis, and brand insight for their defined span of control while also partnering with internal stakeholders to achieve the companys 6-year strategic plan.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Spearheads the development and execution of the franchise plans for business-to-business, catering, and gifting sales to achieve the strategic initiatives of the Company.
Partners with franchisees and internal stakeholders to analyze key performance indicators and financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to franchisees and HBH senior leadership.
Develops content for monthly webinars for the franchise community to promote best practices to achieve business-to-business activities.
Develops, execute, and monitor the processes, activities, and best practices to drive Catering and Gifting sales across the 200+ store franchise system.
Partners with various teams to include Franchise Operations, Real Estate, and Construction to support all new store opening activities and existing store remodels according to brand standards.
Fosters and maintains trusting and mutually beneficial business relationships with franchisees
Mentors and supports other Franchise Business Leaders with New Store Opening activities and Operational Excellence Reports
Partners with senior leadership and Franchise Business Leaders with SWOT analyses to ensure FSQA compliance
Ensures adherence to the Vision, Mission, and Values of the HoneyBaked brand in all franchisee stores and among all Franchise Owners and Franchise Store Teams
Partners with internal teams to ensure brand adherence in the areas of standard operations, marketing, customer experience, and food safety in accordance with Company standards.
Researches and maintains insight on industry trends and competitor activities in an effort to provide strategic guidance to senior leadership and the franchise community.
Supports the Franchise system with New Store Opening activities to include premarketing initiatives
Supports additional franchise development area planning and the new store opening process
Trains, coaches, and supports new and current franchise owners to execute the New Store Opening Roadmap to ensure successful new store openings and sustained sales growth
Conducts a comprehensive annual business review of the franchisees operational and financial performance, as well as semi-annual Operations Excellence Review (OER)
Communicates opportunities, performance gaps, and areas of influence to the Vice President, Franchise Operations
Ensures Voice of the Customer Program is trained and executed to ensure consistent and highly satisfying customer experience intended to build sales and brand loyalty
Leverages Limited-Time-Only (LTO) and Holiday promotions to increase market share, build sales, and grow transactions as key drivers of a profitable business model
Is uncompromising in the execution of local and national food safety and health standards, as well as strict compliance to the brands Food Safety and Pest Management Programs
Ensures the brands marketing calendar is executed flawlessly through completion of in-store visits, Checks for Excellence, and consistent coaching and communications
Trains and coaches Franchise Owners, Operators, and Store Managers to utilize HoneyBaked food, labor, and controllable expenses systems to effectively manage costs
Provides consultation and expertise to improve margins, operational efficiencies, and profits
Serves as a role-model and leader-led example of fostering and inspiring a Growth-Mindset
Responsible for achieving sales and profit goals; utilizes available reports to identify opportunities and ensures that correct operational procedures are followed at all times
Builds capability and working expertise to provide problem solving and planning solutions
Maintains store-level compliance to Federal, State, and Local Laws
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will lead 2 or more Franchise Business Leaders.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of extensive multi-unit franchise leadership and operational roles preferably within the restaurant industry
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
An understanding of P&L statements, budgeting and controllable costs
Strong analytical skills, including proven ability to develop, manage, and interpret metrics
Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Possesses a valid driver's license in the state of residence and maintains a good driving record.
An energetic and positive outlook, proactive self-starter, driven to get things done and does the right thing for the business

Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking. There is some requirement to lift or handle material and/or equipment of moderate weight (up to 50 pounds)
