About the Role:

The Painter/Blaster 1 position is essential for ensuring that surfaces are properly prepared and coated to meet industry standards for quality and durability. This role involves applying paint and protective coatings to various surfaces, which is critical for both aesthetic appeal and long-term maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating blasting equipment to remove old paint and contaminants, ensuring a clean surface for new applications. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of painting and blasting techniques. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Familiarity with safety procedures related to painting and blasting. Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a painting or blasting role. Certification in hazardous materials handling. Knowledge of different types of paints and coatings. Experience with spray painting equipment. Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary. Operate blasting equipment to remove old paint, rust, and other contaminants from surfaces. Apply paint and protective coatings using various techniques, ensuring even coverage and adherence to specifications. Maintain and clean tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks associated with hazardous materials and equipment.
