Work model:
On-Site What you will do: Drive the development of electrical designs from initial concept through final construction documents Ensure alignment with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and other relevant codes and standards Guide and support junior engineers and designers through technical mentorship Partner with clients, architects, and contractors to craft innovative and practical design solutions Contribute to project scheduling, feasibility evaluations, and cost analysis Cultivate strong client partnerships and serve as a key external representative of the firm Enhance and standardize internal electrical design practices and documentation What you will need to be successful: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related area (mechanical engineering, construction engineering, or construction management) Must have an active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license Skills with Revit and similar design software Previous experience working across disciplines with other engineers, contractors, and architects Benefits overview: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k PTO Interested and qualified candidates can contact Alex Borsay at (515) 225-7000 or aborsay@thepalmergroup.com.
