Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Description: Network Runners is seeking a

Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

to support the Department of Homeland Security U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR).

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst shall be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and compiling data needed to identify trends and patterns. Make recommendations for business actions, efficiencies, and transformation. Develop Business Intelligence tools using platforms such as COGNOS, QlIK or other business intelligence platforms. Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Assist in designing, developing and maintaining existing business intelligence solutions. Develop accurate data reporting using business intelligence tools and analytics methodologies. The contractor shall create and maintain reporting needs within the JXAnalyze (PowerBI) application. Ensure data is available to OPR leadership using BI dashboards and listing reports that organize and present information in a consistent manner that facilitates transparency, identifies trends, and patterns, and identifies the entire life cycle of investigative process.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

Must have a bachelors degree in business or related field and at least seven (7) years specialized experience; or nine (9) years general experience. Specialized experience must include, at least, three (3) years in data management and analysis experience and two (2) years of specialized experience in process engineering or supporting complex business functions or activities and providing challenging and professional deliverables, products, and services. Must possess advanced oral and written communication skills; advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Visio, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook; and analytical skills Must be a U.S. Citizen.
