DescriptionJob Summary:The Business Development Sales, Executive serves as a primary contact for Burroughs new customer engagements, finding and qualifying new sales opportunities within the Financial Institution (FI) sector. The Business Development Executive (Rep) is an important member of Burroughs sales and bookings growth strategy; responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and driving revenue growth across their assigned application segment and territory. Ideal candidates for this role possess Burroughs core values of Character, Customer-Centric, Accountability, Teamwork, and Innovation in approach and completion of duties. Candidates MUST have direct experience in the cash automation solution selling space and the ability to independently generate and progress a pipeline. Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:Close sales and achieve assigned Sales bookings quota targetsSource new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups and outbound cold calling with AI support demand generation and outbound email strategiesStrategically and tactically generate leads in targeted markets and sectors through effective account/prospect research and identify key players and generate demandMaintain and expand database of prospects within assigned industry and territoryDevelops trusted advisor relationships with prospects while meeting company goals of growing revenue and profitability across all new service contractsEnsures accurate and well qualified sales engagements for our solutions according to customer needs and requirementsGains knowledge of customers' mission critical objectives and develops sales strategies resulting in new opportunities and new revenuePrepares and presents services proposals to prospects/customersWorks with Sales management and Bid Desk to develops opportunity cost models for Burroughs senior management review (as required)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Possess a strong selling ability and is quota/goal achievement drivenKnowledge of marketing automation and emerging AI selling toolsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products (PowerPoint, Excel - including Vlookup capabilities)Articulate in interpersonal communications with internal and external customersStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced environmentAbility to generate respect and trust from team, internal constituents and customersHigh degree of personal integrity and professionalism Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively and independentlyMajority of work is Remote (home based)Some Travel may be requiredEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing or equivalent work experience3 to 5 years' experience in account management or similar roleSales experience strongly preferredFor this position our annual base salary range is between $78,000 to $92,000 depending on relevant experience, plus eligibility to participate in the Burroughs Commission Incentive Plan.
