Asset Management One USA Inc is a New York-based asset manager (SEC registered investment adviser and CFTC registered CTA/CPO) with approximately $7b under management and $15b under advisory. We are seeking an Assistant Vice President of Finance. Position Overview: The position will share responsibilities for management of all daily and periodic accounting, finance, and trade operations needs of the firm's funds (including Cayman funds, US funds, and fund of funds). In addition, the position will be responsible for assisting with various Risk and IT related tasks. Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities for the role are detailed below: Oversee the daily activities of the Fund's outsourced trading operationsMonitor cash across fund vehicles/treasury management, including Fund invoicing and payment management, as well as Fund fee and expense accrual managementManage daily and month end close/reconciliation/NAV process with Fund administratorManage the annual preparation and issuance of the financial statementsMonitor and advise on fund tax considerations, including the review of various tax filingsManage service providers and problem resolution including administrators, banks, custodians, and auditorsAssist with regulatory compliance, including filings of regulatory forms (NFA/SEC)Assist with investor reporting preparation and ad-hoc reporting requestsAssist with daily and periodic risk management activities across all operational risk areasAssist in various Risk related projects and initiativesAssist in various IT related projects and initiativesWork with system providers to implement efficient workflows across accounting, operations and risk areasQualifications: CPA with prior experience at an accounting firm5+ years industry accounting experience, direct hedge fund/hedge fund platform employment a plusExperience with order management systems and Administrator reporting platformsKnowledge of Enfusion a plusExtremely detail oriented and organizedStrong technical and analytical skillsKnowledge of MS Office including Excel (e.g. macros, vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)Experience with Audits and Regulatory Reporting (NFA/SEC)Strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership of projects and tasks assignedHighly organized and self-motivatedProcess and detail oriented with a strong work ethic and team focused attitudeThe expected base salary ranges from $120,000.00 -$160,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
