Armed Security Officer Split 2nd / 3rd Shifts Schedule: Sun-Mon(11pm-7am) and Thurs-Sat(3pm-11pm) Job Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older. Verifiable Armed Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience (3+ years) preferred. Armed security officer (must pass Armed training, have valid pistol permit). Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Comfortable with new technology Strong written, electronic, and oral communication skills Self-motivated with strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and/or priorities simultaneously. A curious nature that helps you to remain aware of the activities around you. The ability to remain calm, solve problems, and act effectively in a critical situation. Job Description
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse workforce, client base, and supporting management and leadership team. Conduct regular walking patrols to improve the safety of individuals and proactively identify and report security concerns. Monitor facility access points, employing verification procedures to authenticate the identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting premises, in support of a secure environment. Maintain precise and detailed logs documenting activities, incidents, and notable observations, facilitating comprehensive reporting and analysis for enhanced security measures. Enforce security procedures in the relevant Security Post Instruction. Execute routine tasks with proficiency, such as securely locking and unlocking doors, activating and deactivating security systems, and diligently monitoring surveillance feeds for signs of potential threats or breaches. Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents, utilizing appropriate actions and established protocols. Always look professional in a clean and pressed uniform. Informs and ensures compliance of SEI and Clients policies, such as smoking, loitering, parking violations, etc. Education Requirements
