Osp Permit Specialist
Selectek is looking for an OSP Permit Specialist to perform review and QC of field survey data and prepares pole attachment and ROW permit documents and maps for submittal to the jurisdictional authority. The Permit Specialist may also fill out tracking forms and perform file uploads and status updates for submittals. Required: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent Experience with project management preferred Prior working experience using various GIS software (ArcMAP, ArcGIS, etc.) Previous experience with land permitting and pole attachment permitting highly desirable Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must have a good working knowledge of computers Must present a positive, professional image to employees, customers, and clients in all interactions Excellent Written and Oral communication skills. Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to pass a pre-employment nationwide background check and drug screen Job Responsibilities: Accumulate data and prepare various company reports as needed Read, assess, and evaluate field survey data related to obtaining permits for construction of fiber optic Outside Plant Able to prepare or edit spreadsheets in MS Excel Able to prepare or edit Google Earth KMZ maps Use other GIS software and tools to analyze, modify, or condition maps and map data Prepare, edit, or markup PDF maps and documents using a PDF editor software Communicate effectively and accurately to staff and customers Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned or requested Sponsorship: No Pay Range: $25/hour - $35/hour ($52,000 - $73,000 annual salary) Term of assignment: 6 months contract to direct Pay Method when Direct: Salary Location of Job: Canton, GA (30115) WFH: Yes, this is an option - first few weeks need to be in-office though.
