Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreate and execute a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports the company's revenue and profit targetsEffectively prospect for new dealers while developing existing dealer and key account relationshipsRegularly conduct product and sales training for dealer personnelMaintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects, and be available and responsive to customers' real-time needsComplete sales activity reports and prepare presentations in a timely mannerTravel as required to develop and grow business in the assigned territory, and to several national eventsSelf-starter with a demonstrated strong work ethicConduct annual sales plans and prepare rolling forecasts with dealersBuild long-term, productive and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new dealers and decision-makers without reliance on excessive client entertainmentOther duties as assignedBasic QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent industry experience.Experience:Must be able to thrive in a team atmosphere with a positive "can-do" attitudeDemonstrated effectiveness in new business development and lead qualificationProven history of effective territory and dealer management by meeting sales targets and generating increased revenue5 + years selling capital equipment or retail vehicles to an independent network of dealers.Prior experience training and developing independent dealer sales personnel is a must.Experienced working within a CRM-based activity / accountability platformAbility to travel extensively within an assigned territoryKey Considerations Results-oriented, tenacious self-starter who strategically plans for successExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Demonstrated presentation skills (development and delivery)Ability to build and maintain positive relationshipsDemonstrated planning, analytical and reporting skillsMechanical aptitude to understand basic golf car maintenance, troubleshooting, etcCompensationAnnual Base Salary negotiable based on experienceCompany Truck & Trailer, Cell Phone and Credit Card for Business UseCompany 401K, Health Care and Benefits Plan Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
