Business Development Executive Job Role We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Executive in the oil and gas industry. This is a high-impact role at a fast-moving startup perfect for someone who thrives in small teams, takes initiative, and knows the sales cycle and processes. You’ll be part of our boots on the ground, introducing ISite to operators who are ready for a smarter way to run their field ops. If you can open doors, build trust fast and successfully navigate the sales cycle, this is your chance to help shape the future of energy tech. Business Development Executive Job Responsibilities Ability to own the full sales cycle – from prospecting and demos to proposals, pricing, and close Build and own a territory plan (target customers, geographies, expected pipeline, etc.) Source and qualify leads in the upstream oil & gas space (especially independent operators and production companies) Conduct outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to secure meetings Deliver compelling demos of the ISite platform Build and manage a sales pipeline in a CRM Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer site visits as needed Work closely with leadership and product team to provide market feedback Develop a deep understanding of ISite’s platform and communicate our value to both technical and non-technical buyers Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and operator pain points Help build the sales playbook and shape how we scale our go-to-market approach Business Development Executive Job Requirements 2+ years of experience in oil & gas sales (field services, software, or equipment sales) Familiarity with field operations terminology, well lifecycle, and production workflows Confident communicator with experience giving presentations and demos Proven experience leading outbound prospecting and working a deal from start to finish Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments Texas based (DFW preferred) with occasional travel required Preferred Startup or scale-up experience Expertise and relationships within the upstream energy space and energy software strongly preferred Highly motivated and innovative individual who can work independently while leveraging various internal and external groups necessary to achieve success for all stakeholders Self-motivated, team oriented and committed to providing an extraordinary level of service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills What We Offer Competitive base salary + uncapped commission Opportunity to grow with a fast-moving, high-impact startup High visibility and direct collaboration with company leadership The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and passport/ID validation. Employment eligibility in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
