Accountant - Financial Reporting ($110,000 - $125,000) - Hybrid in Dallas, TX LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accountant - Financial Reporting - for our client in the oil and gas industry located in Dallas, TX. This role involves preparing accurate financial statements, performing month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in public accounting, completing financial reporting. Oil and gas experience is required for the role. Responsibilities: Prepare and validate financial statements Oversee month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations for accruals, derivatives, and other ledger activities. Compile financial reporting packages for various internal and external stakeholders under tight deadlines. Consolidate quarterly and annual financial statements for affiliates. Assist with compliance reporting, including quarterly bank covenant submissions and external audits. Requirements: Bachelors degree in accounting 3+ years of experience in a relevant role Experience in public accounting is required Oil and gas experience is required for the position Generous PTO, 401K, Paid health benefits, Hybrid schedule, onsite gym, casual work environment Seniority level
