General Responsibilities :

Responsible for curriculum development and delivery of both theoretical and hands-on instruction, including supervision of clinical rotations, classroom management,and completion of administrative tasks such as reporting, syllabus creation, and lesson plan development.Oversee student progress, ensuring alignment with course/program learning outcomes. Prepare and maintain up-to-date course syllabi for all courses taught. Willingness to work within a flexible teaching schedule and at varied sites including distance learning format if needed. Ensure that courses are taught in accordance with established syllabus. Ensure all courses adhere to the established syllabus and recommend necessary instructional materials and laboratory/facilities equipment for course effectiveness. Examples of Duties

Minimum Requirements :

Minimum of an Associates degree required. Active Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or Certified Registereed Central Service Technician (CRSCT) certification required. Must have an active BLS certification. Previous instructional experience required. Applicant must submit resume and proof of certification. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and D2L, learning management system.

Preferred Requirements :

Associate Degree or higher preferred. Five (5+) years' experience working as a CSPDT or CRSCT in a hospital/OR setting preferred. Two or more years of instructional experience preferred. Supplemental Information
