Location: Live Oak, TX
Shift: Days / 7-10 hours with Rotating Weekends
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated RN / CV Technologist / ARRT to join our dynamic team in the Cath Lab. This position plays a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care within a state-of-the-art facility. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to assist in both cardiac and electrophysiology (EP) diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist in scrub duties during cardiac and EP procedures, including device implantations. - Utilize the MacLab system to record, measure, and document during various cardiac procedures. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. - Adhere to all hospital protocols and assist with floating as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: - Active TX RN License (temp License will not be accepted). - 2+ years of hospital experience in a Cath Lab setting. - Proficient in scrub assist skills during cardiac and EP diagnostic and interventional procedures. - BLS Certification required.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with EP scrub, Cath and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. - Familiarity with Meditech documentation system. - Certification as RCIS or RCES.
Unit Details: - Number of Beds: 155 - Equipment: MacLab, Volcano IVUS, Philips FD 20 and FD 10, and hemo monitoring systems. - Documentation System: Meditech and MacLab.
Work Environment: The Cath Lab provides a collaborative atmosphere dedicated to patient care with a focus on continuous improvement and teamwork. Our staff is known for their commitment to professionalism and compassion in every patient interaction.
Dress Code: - Scrubs provided by the facility. - Clean and neat hair with no extreme styles or colors. - Body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
