Tennant Company is seeking an
Executive Assistant
to provide diversified, effective, and proactive administrative support for our C-Suite executives, including the SVP, General Counsel, and SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer. The role involves performing a wide variety of general, specialized, and confidential duties to ensure the success of our top leaders. The Executive Assistant will partner with other assistants to prioritize the flow of requirements needed to support all executives effectively. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for managing communications, calendars, scheduling meetings, confirming appointments, arranging travel and transportation, supporting Board responsibilities, and maintaining records and processes. RESPONSIBILITIES Work in the office at least 3-4 days a week to provide on-site support, with flexibility for specific situations. Provide high-level support that anticipates the needs of the executives, demonstrating responsiveness and meeting deadlines, including occasional after-hours support. Manage calendars proactively, prioritize inquiries, troubleshoot conflicts, and ensure organizational priorities are met. Complete administrative tasks such as assisting with projects, preparing documents and reports, managing correspondence, travel arrangements, and expense reports. Support Board of Directors meetings, including drafting agendas, developing materials, and recording minutes. Serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on confidential matters, exercising judgment in responses. Keep executives informed of commitments, follow up on responsibilities, and anticipate needs for meetings and conferences. Coordinate global leadership meetings and support other team members as needed. Build and maintain professional relationships internally and externally. Perform other duties as assigned to benefit the organization. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of executive support experience PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Experience supporting Board of Directors and legal departments is preferred OTHER QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Motivated self-starter and team player with professionalism and confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Concur, PowerPoint, and electronic board management tools (e.g., Diligent Boards) Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to handle multiple priorities with discretion and efficiency High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information Begin your journey with us.
