Job Description - Quality Inspector
We are seeking an experienced
Quality Inspector
to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing, with an emphasis on machining or screw machine environments. This role requires keen attention to detail, proficiency in inspection tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities: Perform inspections of production samples drawn directly from CNC machines; clean samples as needed.
Conduct first article and setup inspections.
Use a variety of mechanical gauges, comparators, and other inspection tools.
Utilize CMM and/or Optical Equipment (PC-DMIS experience a plus).
Apply geometric tolerancing in inspection processes.
Review and interpret mechanical drawings.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of inspections.
Track internal and external calibration using Gage Trak.
Support cross-functional teams in maintaining quality standards. Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (machining or screw machine background preferred).
Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection methods and tools.
Experience with geometric tolerancing (required).
Proficiency in Excel preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a production environment. Compensation & Schedule:
Pay range:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour , commensurate with experience.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM
(flexible). Overtime available on Fridays when needed. Pay Details:
$20.00 to $28.00 per hour
