Hospice Director of Clinical ServicesThis exceptional opportunity as a Director of Clinical Services for a Hospice underlines a crucial leadership role aimed at overseeing clinical hospice services. The successful candidate will lead the conceptualization, implementation, and evaluation of strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality palliative care that aligns with our organizational goals and ethical values. This role demands a dynamic leader adept in managing multidisciplinary teams and fostering an environment that emphasizes compassionate service and operational excellence.Salary: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per yearEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and direct all aspects of the hospice's clinical services across various settings to ensure delivery of quality patient care. Develop, implement, and evaluate programs and services that comply with professional standards, and state and federal regulatory requirements. Monitor and manage key performance indicators including patient census, staffing ratios and budgets to ensure financial health and operational efficiency. Implement strong quality assurance and performance improvement strategies to continuously enhance the quality of care provided. Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and foster a proactive approach to patient safety and privacy. Facilitate a collaborative team environment, provide mentoring, and lead professional development initiatives for staff.Minimum Position Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor's degree in nursing. Must be a licensed RN in the state of operation. Minimum of three years of recent experience in a hospice environment. Proven managerial or supervisory experience in a hospice/home care setting, preferably at least two years. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team structure.Preferred Qualifications: Five years of hospice experience with progressive responsibility. Previous roles in hospice management or higher supervisory roles.Skills: Excellent leadership and team-building skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of staff and management. High adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic and complex situations. Proficiency in planning, budgeting, and administrative duties.
