JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, enhance, code, test, deliver, and debug software. Develop software products for larger, more complex stories spanning multiple technology domains. Facilitate and lead story breakup and grooming. Drive feature-level architecture/design sessions. Participate in product-level architecture/design sessions. Recommend actions to improve procedures and standards. Identify and communicate technical trends and emerging technologies. Provide development guidance and support to less experienced colleagues. Provide technical mentoring to less experienced employees in the immediate group. Create DevOps CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Octopus. Develop observability and monitoring frameworks to define Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) using Dynatrace and Azure AppInsight. Use Pulumi to create Infrastructure as Code for Azure Cloud. Build scalable cloud application infrastructure using Azure cloud. Establish static and dynamic security scans for applications. Automate routine operational processes to reduce manual intervention and enhance system efficiency and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues. MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus the following experience: 5 years experience in web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, AngularJS, Bootstrap, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API. 5 years experience in each of the following database technologies: SQL Server 2016/2012, Visual Studio 2015/2019/2022, VSCode. 3 years experience in .NET Framework middleware: WCF, Entity Framework, C#, .NET Framework 4.0/4.5, IIS 6.0/7.0, Web API, Web Services. 3 years experience in Azure cloud technologies: App Services, Vault, Storage Accounts. 3 years experience in application development with TDD using NUnit, Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, and CI/CD pipelines for Azure Cloud or Pivotal Cloud Foundry. 2 years experience in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Octopus. 1 year experience in Data Integration Platforms: DataBricks, Deltalake, Azure Data Factory, Python, Spark. 1 year experience in monitoring and observability tools: Dynatrace Monitoring and Azure AppInsight. 1 year experience in security scanning: static scans with CheckMarx and dynamic scans with InsightAppSec. Experience may be gained concurrently. Hybrid position. Must reside within commuting distance from the Chicago, IL office or be willing to relocate. Various unanticipated locations across the U.S. Position is part of the employee referral program. Salary: $153,317.00 - $179,000.00 per year. This position is incentive eligible.
