We are seeking dynamic candidates who enjoy a fast-paced and team oriented work environment supported by a company with the motto "Customers first, employees always!"Job DescriptionTitle: Laser OperatorReports to: Production SupervisorJob Purpose: Ultimately responsible for set up and operation of laser machines, production saw, and tumble blast machine.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and other quality documentsAdjust machine settings per part specifications and troubleshoot machine setting issues Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with fixtures, gauges, and measuring tools to ensure conformance with specificationsMaintain tolerances determined by part specificationsAbility to perform preventative maintenance and maintain the area's 5S standardsRecognize, set up, and operate hand and power toolsMust be able to lift up to 50lbsPerform other duties as required or assigned by supervisorFollow all OSHA and internal safety standardsQualificationsExperience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferredWillingness to rotate through multiple manufacturing operationsAbility to perform standard shop computations (math)Ability to read schematics (blue prints) and engineering drawingsAbility to read, understand, follow and enforce safety proceduresAbility to follow administrative/procedural policies as well as work within a team environmentAdditional InformationPhoenix Stamping Group, LLC offers a drug-free work place along with a competitive salary and benefits package.
