We offer an early learning center for preschool and kindergarten students, including a community education center. This center includes many outdoor and indoor active learning spaces. Jefferson Elementary provides programming for grades 1-4, focusing on small group instruction, responsive classroom, STEM opportunities, and core curriculum. We offer a middle school structure and environment for grades 5-8, focused on advisory, exploratory, and experiential learning opportunities. Our high school is for grades 9-12, offering college, vocational, and work-ready courses. We have many opportunities for fine arts and athletics for all students. A Career Technical Education (CTE) Center provides students with opportunities in automotive, welding, manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, construction careers, and cabinetry.

Location - New Ulm Middle School, 414 South Payne Street, New Ulm, Minnesota
Job Summary - This position is 191 days per year, 8 hours per day; working in the school office assisting administration, fellow staff, students and visitors
Qualifications
Able to provide exceptional support through interaction with students, staff, parents, and community members in a friendly and professional manner Ability to communicate in an articulate, professional manner Experience working in a school setting Able to work calmly in a high paced atmosphere Highly organized and capable of working independently and as a team member Ability to prioritize a heavy workload Experience with computers, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases Able to follow policies and procedures without deviating from them Maintain a high level of confidentiality Start Date - As agreed upon
Wage/Salary/Benefits - Clerical and secretarial employee classification B21, starting wage $17.10 per hour based on experience; Benefit package available includes health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off
