SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday / 1:30pm to 10:00pm + OT
PAY:
$19.50 Hourly

Coordinate and prioritize the operations tasks directed by the department Supervisor and/or Lead Will operate the Stand-Up Reach Forklift and Double EPJ and/or other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product and materials Communicate and execute work assignments to meet set expectations by department and customer requirements Communicate with all staff and departments such as the supervisors, support staff, leadership, delivery drivers and front-line employees Prepare duty-related paperwork Escalate work-related and interpersonal issues to leadership as needed Perform quality checks and report failures to supervisor/lead Handle any minor tasks related to duties of the position Follow health, safety, and cleanliness standards Excellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly role MATERIAL HANDLER/FORKLIFT OPERATORS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
High School Diploma/GED preferred Must have at least 1 year of continuance and current experience operating a Raymond Stand-Up Reach Forklift and Double EPJ Experience using warehouse management and inventory systems preferred Order picking/selector experience Experience with refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment preferred Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes potential overtime, weekends and different work schedules Ability to communicate effectively in English Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Ability to balance productivity, quality, and safety Strong Organizational, Interpersonal & Multitasking Skills Ability to work under pressure and a fast paced environment MATERIAL HANDLER/FORKLIFT OPERATORS WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is largely a static role with standing, however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and standing up is also required. This would require the ability to lift 10-35 lbs. repetitively and up to 45 lbs. occasionally. This role operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment
(between 35 and -20 degrees Fahrenheit)
located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production-type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for duration of shift. Universal Pure facilities may process, pack, and or store products containing allergenic food ingredients as referenced by FDA, team members who may come in direct contact, must be able to work with these ingredients.
