Job Summary
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment within the facility. This role ensures that all assigned areas are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stocked, contributing to a healthy and professional workplace. Key Responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
Sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas; replenish supplies as needed.
Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables.
Clean windows, doors, and other glass surfaces.
Monitor cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.
Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or repair needs promptly.
Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Support special cleaning projects as assigned (e.g., deep cleaning, event setup/cleanup).
Qualifications
Previous janitorial or custodial experience is an advantage but not required.
Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 25–50 lbs.
Reliability and punctuality are essential.
