As a member of an agile Development Team, the Developer IV develops application solutions for Tulane University, primarily focusing on student information and learning management systems, as well as system interfaces. Responsibilities include developing and implementing large-scale database applications using standard-based methodologies and tools; researching, designing, developing, configuring, integrating, testing, and maintaining new and existing applications, including databases, reports, web applications, mobile applications, interfaces, and third-party integrations. The position also involves gathering business requirements, writing code and documentation, performing testing and maintenance, adhering to agile development principles, and providing support and mentoring to other team members. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and at least six (6) years of software applications development experience, including: Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL Rapid web-based development using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 Server-side coding in Microsoft .NET technologies (e.g., C#, ASP.NET MVC, Core, Entity Framework, Web API, Razor) At least five years of experience in web API development Proficiency in JavaScript using APIs like JQuery and frameworks such as Angular, React, or VueJS
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Angular, React, or VueJS, TypeScript, and .NET Core Microservices development DevOps CI/CD integrations Experience with Banner
