About The Position *Must have ARRT MR in hand to submit* MRI Tech Rotating 3, 12Hr 06:30 - 19:00 3, 12Hr 18:30 - 07:00 This will be a role in the IMRIS (MRI Operating Room). Will require 2 months of training before scanning independent. Long contract to balance time trained vs. coverage in the end. Must have Siemens experience. Must have at least a years experience in MRI (OR, Interventional, HiFU preferred, but not required). Will train on Days before putting into 12 hour shift rotations. No call. No weekends. No Holidays. Shift: Can be M-F on 8 s, 10 s, or 12 s. It depends on the case load while in Orientation. Since you may only see 1 to 2 cases a day, the schedule can be flexible to allow as much training depending on the cases scheduled to be done. Once trained and independent, this will be a rotating 12 s schedule. Daily Caseload per tech: 100-150 Years of experience REQ: 1 year First-timers accepted: Yes Weekend REQ: 1 Sat a month, if needed Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Yes Floating Req to Sister Facilities: (Y/N): No Locals accepted: No, home address must be at least 50 miles from facility Pending State License accepted: Yes RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days Guaranteed Hours: 40 Special Requirements: *Siemens equipment experience required* BLS and ARRT MR required IV Starts and PACS preferred Experience with Outpatient/Inpatient, ER, Level 1Traums, Teaching hospital, community hospital, NICU, Adult ICU preferred Preferred skills: Abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, breast, spine, musculoskeletal, CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, MIP, MRP, Perfusion, Peripheral magnetic resonance, spectroscopy, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1/T-2 weighted images Prefer that applicants can work two of our three softwares. Current scanners are: Siemens: Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, Vida (Multiple of each) Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Teaching / Level Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 1259 Scrub Color: Black Charting: EPIC Parking Cost: Monthly parking passes available.
