Respond to nurse call systems to determine resident needs. Assist residents with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair care, and incontinence care. Help residents with eating and obtaining food trays. Support residents with range of motion exercises and movement to/from wheelchair or activity areas. Aid residents with turning, positioning in bed, and ambulation. Record vital signs and monitor food and fluid intake/output. Document activities of daily living (ADLs) and restorative services provided. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to provide input on resident care plans. Ensure punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts. What We're Looking For:

Requirements

Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Licenses/Certification

Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment. Valid CPR certificate preferred. Experience

Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred.

NOTE: A CNA who successfully completes an approved advanced skills training curriculum and/or has demonstrated experience in a needed clinical specialty area, e.g. ventilator, pulmonary, and tracheostomy (VPT), can be classified as a CNA II.
