Full-Time Medical Assistant (Clinical Team Member)

We are currently seeking a full-time, experienced Clinical Team Member to join our orthopedic team in Chesterfield, VA. This role supports physicians and patients through a blend of clinical, administrative, and operational responsibilities, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the care journey.
What You'll Do
Clinical Support: Prepare exam rooms prior to patient arrival Interview patients and record vital signs and medical history Educate patients on cast care, traction, and orthopedic appliances Assist with patient flow and provide direct care as directed Administrative Coordination:
Input physician-directed orders (e.g., x-rays, physical therapy) Schedule follow-up appointments, post-ops, and studies Coordinate surgery scheduling, including pre-op testing and equipment needs Respond to patient phone calls and resolve issues same-day Maintenance & Safety:
Maintain clean, well-stocked treatment and bracing rooms Ensure proper disposal of Sharps and biohazard materials Support overall clinic operations and contribute to a safe, efficient environment What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) 2+ years of experience in a medical facility (preferred) Certification preferred: CCMA, CMA, RMA, or ROT Excellent customer service and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting Physical ability to meet ergonomic demands of the role Why Join Us
