west of Columbia, SC
to fill a full-time
Occupational Therapist (OT) position . This permanent role provides an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled OT to help patients regain independence and enhance their quality of life through personalized therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities: Assess Patients: Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to design tailored therapy plans. Provide Interventions: Help patients improve daily living skills and regain functional independence. Education: Teach patients and families therapeutic exercises and strategies for at-home care. Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of patient progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary. Professional Development: Stay informed about best practices and engage in continuous professional development. Occupational Therapist Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Licensure: Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in South Carolina. Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not required. Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Benefits:
