As a

Physical Therapist , you'll be responsible for evaluating patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and guiding them through the recovery process. You'll use a mix of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and specialized equipment to help patients improve function, reduce discomfort, and prevent future injuries. This position also involves educating patients and families, tracking progress, and adapting care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities of the

Physical Therapist

will include:

Perform thorough patient assessments, interpreting test results and functional evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans in consultation with referring providers or based on prescriptions. Administer manual therapies, therapeutic exercises, and other evidence-based interventions. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary. Assess the fit and function of prosthetic and orthotic devices, recommending adjustments when needed. Educate patients and their families about recovery timelines, home exercise programs, and strategies for preventing reinjury. Maintain accurate and timely patient records. Provide clinical guidance to students or interns when assigned. Travel to additional locations for coverage as needed. Job Requirements

Qualifications of the

Physical Therapist:

Education & Licensure: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program and a current NY State PT license. Experience: 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred, with strong skills in evaluation, treatment planning, and hands-on therapy. Deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal/neurological conditions. Expertise in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and rehabilitation techniques. Excellent communication skills to engage with patients, families, and care teams. Compassionate, patient-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in accurate documentation and recordkeeping. Flexibility to adapt to patient needs and clinic priorities.

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $74,000 - $118,000.
