This role directly contributes to patient care by measuring vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with minor medical procedures, which enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery, creating a smoother and more patient-centric fertility journey.

What You Will Do: The Medical Assistant is responsible for the daily management of patients through administrative and clinical tasks to support the smooth operation of the Care Centers, Surgery Centers, and Laboratories. This position will coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide the essential services needed. The Medical Assistant reports directly to Clinical Leadership.

Prepare patients for examination - Responsible for obtaining and documenting vital signs, reviewing and updating patient health information-such as medical history, allergies, and current medications-and entering all data accurately into the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Communicate with physician and/or nurse practitioner, changes in patient condition, abnormal vitals, lab results, and abnormal patient response during testing/exam. Prepare minor procedure trays and assist with procedures (i.e., hysteroscopy, endometrial and/or punch biopsy, cyst aspiration, Pap smears, GC/chlamydia testing, HSG testing, etc.). Prep exam room respective to patient appointment and testing. Provides patients with information regarding procedures, including preparation and what to expect, and addresses basic questions within scope, referring clinical concerns to the provider as appropriate Assist physician and/or nurse practitioner with patient examinations. Maintain patient workflow to meet physician/nurse practitioner scheduling requirements. Coordinates lab test orders and scheduling per provider instructions; documents and routes results appropriately in the EMR. Assists with coordinating prescription refills as directed by the provider prior to procedures; communicates completion status to patients Scan signed consents, office appointment forms, laboratory, and pathology reports into EMR. Monitors medication and supply inventory, including refrigerator stock, and tracks expiration dates; reports inventory needs or discrepancies to clinical leadership for ordering Perform urine pregnancy test, document results in EMR, and communicate with physician, nurse practitioner prior to exam/procedure. Operates autoclave to sterilize instruments in compliance with infection control protocols; maintains accurate sterilization logs and promptly reports any equipment issues to clinical leadership Cleans and disinfects exam rooms and equipment between patients; completes scheduled weekly deep cleaning per infection control standard Maintain HIPAA and Confidentiality for all patient and clinic information, HIV confidentiality. Administers standardized screening tools for domestic and child abuse as directed and reports any concerns to clinical staff in accordance with clinic protocols Other duties as assigned. What You Bring:

High School Diploma Required. Medical Assistant (MA) -or- Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) credential required. BCLS certification required. Phlebotomy certification preferred. 1+ year Medical Assistant -or- Licensed Practical Nursing experience preferred.

CCRM's Compensation:

The salary range represents the national average compensation for this position. The base salary offered will vary based on location, experience, skills, and knowledge. The pay range does not reflect the total compensation package. Our rewards may include an annual bonus, flexible work arrangements, and many other region-specific benefits.
