Description Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and develop personalized treatment strategies Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehab specialists to ensure the best outcomes for patients Guide and educate patients and families on their therapeutic journey, discharge plans, and appropriate home exercises Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress while adhering to facility and legal standards Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure cohesive patient care Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution Certifications
State licensure as a
Physical Therapist CPR certification preferred Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., neurological, geriatric) enhance your candidacy but are not mandatory Skills
Preferred previous experience in a similar role Ability to treat patients with diverse medical and mobility challenges Excellent communication and collaboration skills Proficient in digital charting and managing clinical documentation Benefits
