Job Responsibilities Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs to design specialized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional objectives Implement Evidence-Based Practices: Employ proven therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living functions Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide integrated, comprehensive care Guide Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers effective therapy techniques to support continued progress outside of therapy settings Document and Review Progress: Keep detailed records of clinical outcomes, adjusting treatment strategies to ensure optimal progress Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university Ongoing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported Certifications

Current

Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)

license NBCOT

(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must Skills
