The Department of Medicine of the Keck School of Medicine is seeking exceptional candidates for a full-time faculty role at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in our Division of Infectious Diseases (ID). This opportunity involves engaging in clinical services, educational programs, research activities, and contributing to our ID Division's vital missions. Overview Our ID Division is recognized for excellence in patient care and provides outstanding clinical training opportunities. It comprises faculty located at two key medical facilities: Keck Hospital and Norris Cancer Center, situated on the Health Sciences Campus. Our mission is committed to advancing knowledge in Infectious Diseases and serving both the local and global communities to reduce disease burden while promoting equitable healthcare. Clinical Activities With over 50 years of tradition, the ID Division offers exceptional clinical services at the USC Health Sciences Campus, encompassing inpatient and outpatient consultative services, including General, Transplantation, and Orthopedic infectious diseases at Keck hospitals. Additionally, the ID Division is responsible for daily faculty oversight of the antimicrobial stewardship programs at both Keck Medicine hospitals and outpatient settings, as well as leading infection prevention initiatives across these facilities. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Doctorate in Medicine (MD, MD/PhD, DO) with board certification or board eligibility in Infectious Diseases. Current medical licensure in California. Eligibility for a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor as per Keck School of Medicine and University guidelines.
