In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality CT examinations that support the emergency department and meet patient care needs. Key Responsibilities: - Perform CT scans utilizing advanced GE Revolution 256 slice and GE VCT 64 slice CT scanners.- Adhere to imaging protocols and safety standards during procedures.- Work collaboratively with a team of 2-3 staff members during the assigned shift.- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures using Meditech and Synapse PACS.- Ensure adherence to hospital-specific policies and guidelines, including scanning protocols and IV contrast policy.- Provide exceptional patient care to ensure a positive hospital experience. Qualifications: - Current ARRT (R) (CT) certification is mandatory.- Basic CT scanning competencies required; advanced experience not necessary.- Experience working in an emergency department setting preferred but not required. Equipment & Technology: - Utilize state-of-the-art GE Revolution 256 slice CT scanner, known to be one of the most advanced scanners available, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
