Nuclear Medicine Technologist TACT Staff is searching for a proficient Nuclear Med Tech to join our team! As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will conduct specialized imaging procedures, including diagnostic planar, SPECT, and PET/CT scans, using advanced radiopharmaceuticals. Your attention to detail, commitment to patient comfort, and precise calculations are key to providing accurate and valuable imaging insights. Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine and PET procedures with precision and care Calculate, dispense, and administer radiopharmaceuticals following established protocols Safely position patients and equipment to optimize scan quality and patient well-being Stay alongside the patient throughout the procedure, offering reassurance and support Ensure accurate patient data entry into the acquisition computer prior to imaging Execute scans in accordance with requisitions and physician directives Process and manipulate planar and SPECT images to produce accurate results Recognize and address potential issues with IVs and IVACs or patient reactions Monitor patient conditions during procedures and promptly notify medical staff of changes Collaborate with supervisors to identify and address safety concerns proactively Requirements: Associate's degree or certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field Active ARRT and/or NMTCB certification Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist CT Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification 3 to 5 years of experience as an NMT Join our team to embark on a rewarding journey in healthcare.
