Henry Ford Medical Group is seeking aBoard Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalistto join our collaborative, physician-led team atHenry Ford Hospital – Jackson, part of the Henry Ford Health System.
About the Position
Thisinpatient-onlyopportunity offers a rewarding role within a community hospital setting supported by one of Michigan’s most respected healthcare systems. Clinical responsibilities include:
Attending deliveries with neonatal resuscitation
Caring for healthy newborns and hospitalized children up to age 18
Providing pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department
Managing infants in ourLevel II Special Care Nursery, including:
Prematurity (≥32 weeks)
Low birth weight (>1500 g)
Respiratory distress, infections, feeding issues, congenital anomalies
Procedures Performed:
Circumcisions
Umbilical central lines
Lumbar punctures
Frenotomies
Intubations
Emergency pneumothorax decompression
Schedule & Teaching
12-hour in-house shifts on a rotating schedule
Opportunities for teaching medical students, transitional year interns, and Family Medicine residents
No fellowship required
