Connected Health Care is seeking a motivated and compassionate
Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
to join a highly regarded healthcare facility in the scenic community of
Taos, New Mexico . This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled PTA to work alongside an experienced rehabilitation team, support patient recovery, and enjoy everything this vibrant area has to offer.
Position Overview The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.
Job Responsibilities
Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and mobility training Monitor patient progress and document care accurately Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe practices Maintain patient safety and follow all healthcare standards and regulations Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes Education and Certification Requirements
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current
New Mexico PTA license
(or eligibility to obtain) Current BLS certification required Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care About Taos, NM Working in
